Our SLES program is dedicated to empowering young people with disabilities to reach their full potential through meaningful employment. We are passionate about addressing the critical need for accessible and supportive pathways from education to the workforce. Recognising the profound impact employment has on personal independence and opportunity, we offer a comprehensive program that goes beyond basic job skills. 

Our approach incorporates pre-employment support, including skills development and familiarisation with workplace expectations, and leverages our innovative, hands-on mechanical workshop to build a strong foundation. We utilise practical training and mentorship within this unique environment to provide a safe and supportive space for initial skill development and confidence building. Our program also offers personalised guidance, facilitating the accumulation of essential experience in a large variety of work fields.

We mainly focus on in-demand industries, including Construction, Mining, Customer Service, and the Automotive Industry. This ensures a higher likelihood of getting real, meaningful work.

Friends Connect at Roads To Connection, our modules are founded on the understanding that social isolation significantly negatively impacts individuals living with disabilities or mental health conditions. Our programs cultivate a safe and supportive environment, both within our workspace and in the broader community, to foster positive connections and friendships. We provide mentorship and education on navigating new friendships, understanding healthy and safe relationships, managing conflict effectively, and establishing appropriate boundaries. By equipping individuals with these crucial social skills, we aim to combat isolation and empower them to build meaningful and fulfilling relationships. 

Our driving program empowers individuals through increased mobility. We address the critical need for accessible driver training, recognising its impact on independence and opportunity. We offer comprehensive support beyond basic skills, including pre-learner theory and road rule familiarisation. Driving simulators provide safe initial skill development and anxiety reduction. Practical lessons facilitate logbook hour accumulation. This multi-faceted approach fosters confidence, independence, and opens doors to new possibilities. We're confident in delivering transformative results, empowering participants towards greater self-sufficiency and autonomy on the road.
